Day 4

  I decided that we would use the hour or so at dusk to climb the ridge to see if the aircraft from the night before had indeed landed for a moment. The climb was steep and took a good deal of work. Reaching the summit one can see a valley down below nestled against another ridge. This land is marked no trespassing and ownership is stated to be government. I gave the pair the option to stay or wait but I'd come too far to turn back because of a sign on a tree. Now I do not condone trespassing or the fracture of any laws, I went on against better judgement. The valley between the two ridges is covered in grass and the ground is still somewhat soft. Scanning the area shown no signs that anything with any sort of mass could have touched down even for a moment. There was a light that came on the other ridge that reminded me of a spotlight and panned from left to right and then appeared to go back over the other side. Given that it's hunting season I'd suspect that someone is looking for a trophy. To my disdain I see another ridge in our future tomorrow. Returning to the top, we made our way down to B Sector. So far many things have been confirmed from the file as being fact. But why here? Not there's anything wrong with it but it don't make sense still. Sometimes a low frequency hum can be heard and felt both. It puts one in mind of an electric motor but at a much lower pitch. Something broke a tree over and no tracks were found around it nor did it appear to have any sort of bug or blight. One single tree in the midst of several tree's being the only one touched. The break is about five feet off the ground and it's a fresh break. No dead limbs or signs of anything hitting the cedar that would cause such damage. Almost as if it was chosen to serve as a marker of sorts. There are reports of this behavior in Bigfoot, and Bigfoot has been reported to be seen in this area. Of note, as wet as it is we have seen no tracks or encountered any smells that are associated with said primate. 0225 Hours, the hum reported earlier  has returned. As odd as it sounds it sounds as though it travels in the treetops but nothing has been see as of yet. We did find three different spots in A sector where the compass would just spin and just go haywire. The three location's form a triangle on a map that points northwest. 0517 hours, there were three strobe like flashes of light, one each of red, yellow and blue and then vanished. No sound whatsoever was detected. After checking the map, the lights seen were in perfect alignment with the triangle noted on the map. While it is strange, we have no evidence that it anything more than happenstance. Also strange is the the caves and chambers both are to the northwest as well. All indications appear that there is a direct involvement between it all. Why would everything center around the caves and the chambers if no connection was there? I must admit to wondering if the theories of vortex's and another dimension is not only possibile but proving it's self at this time. Much research will be needed to answer any questions it would appear.
