You like adventure?
You want to impress people?
You want to be rich?
You desire to be famous?
You wish to have the pleasure of telling your friends you got some cool stuff on youtube?
You wish to find answers and help people?
Now be honest with yourself. How many got a "yes" and how many got a "no"? A yes to the first and last question will be fine.
If you have more than 2 "yes" answers, you will do well to study hard and pick a field that will be in demand for the next 40 or so years.
The sense of adventure is fine since you're after proof of something that more than likely you will never have enough of to make a believer out of all.
If you want to impress people, all you have to do is walk and chew gum while you walk because you'd be shocked to know just how few of us "spook chasers" are smart enough to do that.
Just remember more people are honest with your back turned and while you face them. My Father was a Pastor of a church for nearly forty years trying to get people to believe in the otherside as many has done before and after his retirement.
Now how will you deal with someone laughing in your face at your "proof" of an afterlife that you know in your heart is there? Below is a copy of a study done by MIT;
"Many of the prophecies concerning the Messiah were totally beyond human control: Birth: Place, time, manner of Death: People's reactions, piercing of side, burial Resurrection: Where did His body go? By using the modern science of probability in reference to just eight of these prophecies, the chance that any man might have lived to fulfill all eight prophecies is one in 100 trillion!
To illustrate this point: If we take 100 trillion silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas, they would be two feet deep. Now we mark one of these silver dollars and thoroughly stir the whole mass--all over the state. Now blindfold a man and let him travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick only one silver dollar.
What chance would he have of picking the marked one? The same chance that the prophets would have of writing just eight of these prophecies and having them all come true for any one man if they had written them without God's inspiration!
The chance of any one man's fulfilling all of 48 prophecies is one in ten to the 157th power. The electron is about as small an object as we can imagine. If we had a cubic inch of these electrons and tried to count them, it would take us (at 250 per minute) 19,000 times 19,000 times 19,000 years to count them.
Now mark one of them and thoroughly stir it into the whole mass. What chance does our blindfolded man have of finding the right electron?"
That being said, how "ironclad" is the proof of a single orb, mist, or EVP look now?
Now lets get to the rich part. More than likely you will have to work another job just to make ends meet. We have a sponsor and yet all of us do "freelance", when we have the chance. Insurance and travel, not to mention gear eats up the most of every dollar. Most Historic sites will demand you pay the help to stay while you're there. That can reach one hundred dollars AN HOUR per person!
Liability insurance is nearly a must these days unless you're smooth enough to talk the property owner into signing away their rights in the form of a waiver. Good luck on that one. If you do a good job that person may tell three others. Screw one up and the are more likely to tell ten, so cover all the bases.
If you desire to be famous and you can't come up with better ways that this. the fame game may not be for you so wake up!
I'm not touching the one on about youtube because if that's the reason I doubt you've been able to read this far anyway.
Now if you're looking for answers and wish to help people, I hope something can be said here during the weeks to come that will inspire you to keep after it and provide some troubled person with peace of mind! Until the next time.....
