I know at times I can come across quite stern, and, it's because of passion for my work and research, as well as for the respect of others. I thought today I'd answer a question that is ask on a regular basis.
"Do you ever get scared?"
Yes for I am just a man of flesh and bone as any other, and, prone to the same weakness as those as well.

One of the first investigations I ever done was at an old farm house that the owner had kept hearing strange noises in. These noises, I was told, was a plague that was mainly after dark and around the same time. This made the thought of it being a residual haunting.
The other reason for the though was the house being over 100 years old. Grant you I had no team or fancy gear, just me and a friend who agreed to assist from time to time. Not long after dark, as if on cue, the noises began. A sound started in the wall behind us and soon spread until all four walls had the same sounds as if to let us know we were surrounded. Now the room had no other exit, although I did wonder we they might like one. We were scared to move and scared not too, so we decided to wait and locate the noise ten see if we could work our way around it. Then like a a switch had been thrown, the noise stopped. So quiet I could hear the beat of my own heart and feel the drop of sweat on my right temple. " Boy's it ain't done yet, you wait and see!", we were assured by the owner. We he spoke I was thankful because I was hoping the sound of his voice would drown out the sound of my friends knees knocking. No sooner than the though came out, a cabinet door started to move on its own! It was a steady movement reminding one of a knock. With all eyes on me, I knew I was being willed to see what was behind the door. I did not want to be me at that moment. I knew I had to get a grip and do this or this gig was just another dead end for me. In one fell swoop out of the chair and with flashlight intow the door was jerked open. I saw a pair go glowing red eye staring at me with no movement or emotion at all. It was also one of the largest rats to this day I'd even saw in my life! Seems as though that side was used that ofter that the rats had chew a hole through the wall from which to pass to make themselves a bedding area. Soon through the hole we a mommy and five baby rats far more scared to see what dad was hiding from than I was moments before. It seem that those who were the first to own the house wasn't nice people and stories n time is being played over and over again as though it's just then happening. stories had been told down through time either true or false I'll never know because that was the only time the owner had an investigation before passing away. The house is no longer there I'm told and the stories just haunt the memories of those that heard them and still wist to believe. Until the next time.....
